Fabulous American-style/authentic hybrid. If you want cheesy enchiladas, you can get those, but you can also get really good tacos al pastor too.
The menu is HUGE. Come prepared to spend a few minutes deciding what you want. It's also a bit hard to read because it isn't organized very well.
Everything is pretty cheap, I don't feel anything is over-priced. -

taqueria tequila, one of my favorite Mexican spots in North Seattle. A big selective menu with everything you can think of on it. Booths and tables available, very family friendly but most importantly staff are SUPER nice and BUSINESS ORIENTED! very authentic

We probably eat here at least two times a month. These days, I see a steady stream of food delivery people in and out. You have to order and pay up front. Self serve fountain drinks. They will bring your food to you. So, fine dining, it is not. It's all about the food.
I really love everything on the menu. I love the chips and salsa. They have a whole salsa bar, but the regular red salsa is the best. The burritos are huge and the bomb. Carne asada plate is great. My wife always gets the chicken quesadilla. My friend often gets the tacos. The fried whole tilapia is fantastic. The pazole is awesome. Seriously, if you have never tried pazole, do yourself a favor and try it. -

This is somewhere between authentic and gringo, depending on what you order. My wife and I live down the street and have built our lives around street tacos, not the best, not the worst, definitely better than no tacos.
We are typically carne asada people, but I think their carnitas are REALLY good. It has the right flavor but more importantly, the proper texture (crispiness, fat, color). We would come back (and do). -

Unassuming on the outside but cooking up greatness on the inside
I was very impressed with this place. The margaritas were delicious and the tacos and nachos were super flavorful. I was expecting "run of the mill" Mexican food but this place really delivered. The portions were large and the prices were small - that is a very good relationship. All the while, the quality of the food was very high. My favorite was the lengua (tongue) tacos
